Introducing Elite of Northwood's Spring ACT Boot Camp!
"We'd look at the ACT, which is more achievement oriented, as being a valid competitor to the SAT today. We now consider them both equally." - Charles Deacon, Georgetown
Take advantage of your Spring Break! The ACT is a nationally recognized college admissions exam whose results are accepted by four-year universities and colleges throughout the United States. The ACT consists of English, Math, Reading, and Science sections as well as a 30-minute Writing Test. Elite's ACT Spring Boot Camp consists of a rigorous 5-day preparation from April 9-13, right before the ACT on April 14. For those who do not have Spring Break at that time, we also have a 5-week ACT Weekend course, held on Fridays starting March 16 and running until April 13. Elite Vision Conference 2012
"He who fails to plan, plans to fail." -- Proverb quote
When you ask students why they want to go to college, they will often reply with, “To get a good job.” But when you ask them what they want to study they may say, “I don’t know.” Some may say they want to become engineers without knowing exactly what engineers are doing. Too many times, students do not know why they are studying, or they do not realize that their prospective career or major may not be a good fit for them. But this year, Elite will be providing guidance in the area of their majors and careers through our annual Vision Conference. For over 25 years, Elite has focused on providing the best test prep and individualized college counseling for high school students. And this year through our Vision Conference, we will continue to help our students holistically. 1. Discover your personality. and 2. Find your major. Schedule an appointment to take three unique assessment tests to learn about your personality type, learning styles, and multiple intelligences. 3. Pursue your career. Select two panel presentations of your choice and attend the Elite Vision Conference on February 11, 2012 at the GMI Center (150 S. Brookhurst Rd., Fullerton, 92833) 4. Plan your future. Meet with your counselor to find ways to get to the career of your dreams! PROGRAMS
